Healthy Eating Costs More?
A recent study reported that healthy eating added $380 to a yearly grocery bill – this simple conclusion is very misleading.

How much money is saved by eating well and improving our immune system? This most certainly leads to less sick days at work and higher energy and focus leading to more production while there. How about lower incidences of health care use through healthier eating? Personal healthcare costs a tremendous amount of money each year to the individual, as well as to the government. Eating healthy can even make us more attractive leading to higher salaries and even getting the job in the first place. Moreover, increased self-esteem and perhaps even better relationships gained through healthier eating… how can that even be valued with a price tag?
Simple conclusions to very complicated story lines only confuse the issue of what is right… and that’s eating healthy without chemicals and undue ingredients.
