Our Diet Soda Culture desires all the sweetness without all the calories… all the rewards without all the sacrifices.
Those who subscribe to this flawed cultural precept believe in materialism, voluntary cosmetic surgeries, weightloss diets of the moment and infomercial exercise products. Subscribers to this myopic cultural viewpoint, incorrectly believe they’re intelligent without studying, athletes without sweating and deserving by simply demanding or buying it.
Intelligent behavior and dedicated sacrifice comes with great and lasting rewards; credit is no good here… it’s very necessary to pay in advance.

Traditional fitness training programs, such as the ones used by local track coaches, university programs and even professionals, typically utilize a base, build and peak formula; working through all three periods of training before reaching an important scheduled event. When the event is accomplished, the athlete takes a planned respite and potentially begins the process all over again.
I DO NOT subscribe to this type of training for the average working professional. This type of “Peak” training leads to physical and mental burnout, low longterm adherence levels to fitness, as well as increased injury rates. The only athletes who should be executing this type of program are those who are involved in specific organized programs meant to be competitive, very experienced athletes who measure themselves by their performance and professionals who get paid well to train in this way. Important to note: even these highly motivated and carefully guided athletes will eventually suffer from physical and mental burnout, as well as succumb to various injuries when training repeatedly for peak performances.

Every client is different… and although many of the initial health, fitness and life goals sound similar in nature their underlying reasons and methods of success are frequently unique to each client; I can’t stress enough that carefully listening to and fully understanding each particular client is what drives the physical and intellectual methods used in their eventual success.

A great, inexpensive snack that can be found at Costco… and the ingredients list is simple: Organic Apples – nothing else!

Because supplements are primarily a waste of money, personal trainers who promote, advise or sell supplements fall into one of the following categories:
A. Don’t know or understand the basics of nutrition or human physiology.
B. Believe the subjective opinions and marketing hype in which they’re subjected.
C. Have determined that personal financial gain is more important than being honest.
Important to Note: there are supplements worth buying and consuming, albeit very few, Carlson Labs Very Finest Liquid Fish Oil would be one of them.
